  • Port Fairy is a small thriving coastal village situated in South West Victoria, Australia. Clonmara Country House & Cottages are located on the corner of Albert Road and the Princes Highway; just a two minute drive or a leisurely twenty minute walk to the centre of town.

  • Detailed CHECK IN instructions will be sent via text or email on the morning of your arrival.

    CHECK IN time is 2pm

    CHECK OUT time is 10am

  • Pets are not welcome.

  • Children are counted the same in the Country House as an adult. We can also provide a portacot for infants at an additional $15 charge per stay. There are gas log fires in the King View rooms and the Country House so guests must understand they always supervise children to prevent them burning themselves.

  • Item desCANCELLATION POLICY: Please note that the Peak Christmas period, (20 Dec - 05 Jan) Port Fairy Folk Festival weekend & Holiday Weekends are refundable if cancelled outside 30 days prior to arrival.

    Reservations at other times if cancelled with more than 14 days notice are fully refundable.

    In the event of cancellation between 14 and 7 days notice of arrival will incur a 1 night cancellation fee.
    In the event of cancellation within 1 week or a no show will forfeit the full booking value.
    If you cancel your reservation by email/phone, it is only a request to cancel. Your reservation is not cancelled until you have received written confirmation from us. In the case of a dispute, this cancellation must be provided.cription

  • To protect the integrity of our non-smoking policy, Clonmara Country House and Cottages will charge an additional night’s accommodation if smoke odour is detected after guest departure.

  • Full payment will only be charged on day of check in unless by prior arrangement to the credit card provided at the time of reservation.

  • Non-accidental or negligent damage caused by a guest to the accommodation will be charged to the credit card of the registered guest, to the cost of the repair.


  • Clonmara does not have an on-site reception; however, support is always available by text message during your stay.


  • Clonmara offers easy self check-in.
    A key will be in the door on arrival, with a welcome note inside to confirm your accommodation.
    Full arrival details are sent prior to your stay.


  • Check-in: From 2:00pm  Check-out: By 10:00am
    Early or late check-in may be available on request.


  • Free on-site allocated parking is provided, located close to your accommodation either in the car park or on Albert Road.


  • Clonmara is a self-catered stay. Each cottage includes the basics such as fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster, whereas the Country House features a fully equipped kitchen.
    Quality linen, toiletries and bath towels are provided. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available (details inside your accommodation).
    Clonmara is not serviced daily; additional servicing for longer stays may be arranged on request.


  • Children are welcome at Clonmara. The Country House is ideal for families, offering two living areas and a selection of books and games.
    A portacot for infants is available on request for $15 per stay.
    Some accommodation includes gas log fires — children must be supervised at all times.


  • Clonmara is a non-smoking property. Pets are not permitted.
    Please respect quiet hours. Parties or events are not permitted


  • Clonmara is located just a 2-minute drive or 20-minute walk to beaches, river walks, cafés and the town centre.


  • Please wash used dishes and dispose of rubbish appropriately if possible, ensure doors and windows are closed, and please leave the key in the door on departure.
